Four months in the making...
KoalaKoding presents, "Spacewar!"
This game was made to replicate the exact 1962 "Spacewar!" Dot by dot the graphics were painstakingly measured to recreate the retro effect as accurate as possible. This game was the first "shoot em' up" game ever made, and it is KoalaKoding's first game. This game was originally coded by students at MIT, mainly Steve Russell.
This game doesn't have sound like the original. Keep tallies yourself because the original game did not have scores!
Instructions:
Player 1 moves right by pressing D and left by pressing A. Fire by pressing S and Hyperspace (aka. move to a random position) is the left arrow key. For thrust, press the W key. Alternate fire is the 4 key.
Player 2 moves right by pressing L and left by pressing J. Fire by pressing K and Hyperspace (aka. move to a random position) is the right arrow key. For thrust, press the I key. Alternate fire is the 0 key.
The banner, "Gamepads are supported," is just to replicate the original game. Gamepads are actually not supported.
